Description Winter is long. Let’s heat it up. Join us for Midwinter Motion, the Junction Dance Festival's winter showcase, on Valentine’s Day at 7:00 PM at the Briggs Opera House. Midwinter Motion showcases a mix of modern, hip hop, and improvisational dance. A few highlights on the talent: The Rhythm Riderz: Vermont’s oldest breakdancing crew. Their members have danced for Universal Studios, the Harlem Globetrotters, and with artists like The Roots, bringing a high-energy, athletic element to the stage. BDB Dance: A Montpelier-based company led by former Vermont Dance Alliance executive director MC DeBelina and her creative partner Ann Bosse. Liz Westbrook: An up-and-coming choreographer from New Hampshire who is returning after a successful showing at our summer festival.
