Description This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Elden Murray Photographic Exhibition and Competition. To help celebrate, we include comments from Dena Rueb Romero, the daughter of Emil Rueb, a friend of Elden Murray, who helped run the event. The Elden Murray Photographic Exhibition and Competition provides Upper Valley amateur photographers of all ages with an opportunity to display their work to the public. The exhibition is sponsored by Howe Library with a grant from the Elden Murray Foundation. The show is run by the Upper Valley Photographers Club. The 2026 exhibit will be on display at the Ledyard Gallery at Howe Library beginning Saturday, January 31, and will continue through Wednesday, February 25.
