U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen held a roundtable discussion with regional health care leaders to learn how they're services offered might be affected by proposed Republican cuts to Medicaid and the Affordable Care Act. A bill pending in Congress would slash $700 Billion from Medicaid, which is the safety net for some of the most vulnerable populations. If passed, the bill would affect an estimated 13.8 million people, including approximately 30 to 40 thousand people in New Hampshire.
