Description Join John C. Franklin, Professor and Chair of the Classics Department at the University of Vermont, as he performs with his four-piece group, The Call of Kinnaru, consisting of voice, lyres, double-pipe (aulos) and frame-drum (tympanon). Their repertoire includes notated music surviving from antiquity and new ancient music: for Euripides’ Helen and Aristophanes’ Clouds and Frogs.
