Dartmouth labor groups held a town meeting for unionization last month at the Church of Christ in Hanover. Rev. Gail Kinney of Meriden, NH, led the rally and called for a faith-and-labor alliance. Lebanon City Councilor Karen Liot Hill, a Dartmouth alum, spoke in solidarity with activists. "I've been here 34 years....Until the student-worker collective came on the scene, nothing really happened, and in two years, it's incredible," said SEIU local president Chris Peck.
